Contemporary, coastal live/work chic.  L Residence Mangrove West Coast was a remodel at a residential complex built by Architectonica along a waterway in Shenzhen facing Hong Kong. After working on our client’s main villa in Suzhou (L Residence – Suzhou Villa), we were commissioned to renovate her new second home in Shenzhen. Most of the existing spaces were gutted and redesigned to be flexible, enabling the occasional office meeting and social breakout in the living/dining rooms while providing for rest and family activity in the bedrooms/family room. The design featured oak engineered wood flooring, a Brazilian marble focal wall, and a full-height custom sliding glass marker board. Project area: 150sqm. 2016.
